Gugs Mhlungu speaks with  Dr. Mark Nasila, Chief Data and Analytics Officer - FNB AI Strategy, about the growing debate around AI and religious authority, following OpenAI CEO Sam Altman’s concerns about people attributing religious significance or moral authority to AI models. They explore the risks of treating AI as a source of spiritual truth, the implications for human judgement, and the ethical questions that arise as AI becomes increasingly influential in our lives.
