Greg and Phil talk with Dr. Gregory Wilson, Marketing Director at CityLink, and Megan Bresnan, who works in Marketing and Community Engagement, about the upcoming 39th Annual Stuff-A-Bus Food Drive, running from October 15 through November 30. The annual campaign brings together CityLink, Kroger, local businesses and community members to collect nonperishable food donations for the Peoria Friendship House food pantry, with this year's goal of collecting more than 15 tons of food. The campaign officially kicks off Thursday, October 15 at 10 a.m. at the Kroger on North Lindbergh Drive in Peoria, with donations accepted at participating Kroger stores throughout Peoria, East Peoria and Pekin, along with several community drop-off locations. They discuss how the food drive works, the importance of supporting families experiencing food insecurity, and how residents can get involved. They also highlight CityLink's ongoing commitment to serving the Greater Peoria community and the partnerships that make Stuff-A-Bus possible.
