Both Brandon Williams who is George Floyd's nephew, and Floyd's former girlfriend Courteney Ross, expressed disappointment in the sentencing of former Minneapolis officer Thomas Lane Thursday. Lane was sentenced to 30 months which is below the amount prosecutors had asked the judge to impose.

And protesters at Cal Poly Humboldt clashed with police last night, while 150 students and other protesters were arrested at a confrontation at NYU. Omar’s 21-year-old daughter Isra Hirsi was arrested and suspended from Barnard College last week for taking part in a pro-Palestine demonstration at Columbia University in New York City.
