Award Submission: The Minneapolis Police Department faced investigations from the Minnesota Department of Human Rights and the U.S. Department of Justice, and entered into consent decrees with both. It was an altering of the landscape of policing in Minneapolis following the death of George Floyd and the ensuing riots and public discourse.
