Four million people ride the New York City subway each week -- certainly a captive audience of potential shoppers. The MTA is always looking for entrepreneurial partners to lease a wide variety of retail. Opportunities range from grab-and-go to larger mezzanine opportunities that could incorporate food and beverage, as well as other uses.
Retail opportunities are also available along the routes of the Long Island Rail Road and Metro North. And the MTA is creatively activating spaces in dozens of stations, energizing vacant retail with art installations and cultural programming.
