At Pratt Center for Community Development, the non-profit "Made in NYC" strongly supports local artists, makers and manufacturers through skill-building programs, marketing resources, and a wide array of services.

Their 6th annual Made in NYC week is underway and runs through next weekend.

On their website madeinnyc.org, you can find information about factory tours, pop-up shops and a list of creative local businesses throughout the five boroughs.

This is all to highlight locally crafted businesses and our city's important manufacturing community. And the celebration will close out at the Brooklyn Navy Yard with the first ever "Taste of Made in NYC" celebrating the city's food and beverage makers.
