He served with 1/8 2007 to 2011 in the Marine Corps, deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan where he was hit by multiple IEDS causing him to retire. In 2022, the Ukraine war kicked off and Rob knew he could make a difference. Having friends in the Special Forces of Ukraine he flew over to assist.
