John Sofronas served from 1999 to 2008 in direct support of Iraqi and Enduring Freedom as a Navy Corpsman of Marines.  His service includes but is not limited to Fallujah, Iraq, Africa amongst other areas of operation.  

He was injured in 2006 and developed Thyroid Cancer shortly after his return from Iraq. He sustained a subseqent stroke, multiple TBI's and transitioned to working for the Department of Veterans Affairs as a Rating Specialist and Decision Review Officer.  He's here to provide clarity on multiple issues for all Veterans, family members and/or beneficiaries.
