Cool Aunt Deb spoke to Nesas Hemp CEO Inesa Ponomariovaite about organic farming and how to find the best hemp products.  Inesa got her start in the hemp industry when her mother got cancer.  She is now the CEO of the world's first ever full-spectrum CBDA Hemp Extract, a parent compound to CBD.

Indiana's own HENRY LEE SUMMER is kicking off the 2022 concert series at Lincoln Amphitheatre in Lincoln City, Ind. this SATURDAY June 4th. We talk about Henry being an "analog man", his first band in 6th grade, time zones, misheard song lyrics, and he was actually born in a different Indiana town that begins with a B...not Brazil.   Tickets HERE  Henry Lee Summer released his first full-length major-label album, Stay with Me, in 1984, but it wasn't until his 1987 release Henry Lee Summer on CBS Records that saw him breakthrough.  The album contained his most well-known song "I Wish I Had a Girl (that walked like that)."

Kat Dolan calls in to talk to Cool Aunt Deb about beer and snack pairings and shares an easy potato wedge recipe.     Potato Wedges Ingredients: 4 large potatoes  1 ½ tsp paprika  1 tsp garlic powder Sea salt Freshly ground pepper Cooking spray   Directions:  Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.  Wash the potatoes to get rid of any dirt. Peel if desired.  Cut the potatoes in half lengthwise. Place each half flat-side down and cut each half lengthwise again. For larger potatoes, cut each wedge in half again (lengthwise) giving you a total of eight wedges. Add the wedges to a large mixing bowl. Spray with cooking spray (or if using olive oil, drizzle with about two tablespoons olive oil) then toss everything together to coat.  Season well with salt and pepper. Spread the wedges in a single layer over a large baking sheet lined with non-stick foil and bake for 35 to 40 minutes, or until golden and cooked through. Remove from the oven and while they are still hot, season with salt to taste. Enjoy!

Cool Aunt Deb gave Kansas lead singer Ronnie Platt a wake up call on Friday morning.  They chatted about a bunch of stuff including Ronnie's previous gigs that included being a Chicago truck driver and lead singer for the band Shooting Star (not to be confused with the Bad Company song by the same name). I spoke with Ben Wilson of Blues Traveler.  We talked about the new album "Traveler's Blues", life as a musician, Adam Ant and INXS, keytars, and more. Blues Traveler will be travelin' to Evansville on Tuesday, September 21st and performing at the Victory Theatre.
