In this hour of Follow The Money, hosts Mitch Moss and Pauly Howard are joined by Jeff Sherman, VP of Risk Management at the Westgate Superbook, to talk about Super Bowl props offered at the Westgate Superbook. Also on the show, the hosts recap last night's sports betting action in "Win Some Lose Some".
Always follow the money.
That's what I always say, you always follow.
Yeah. Yeah, this is Follow the Money with Mitch Moss and Polly Howard on VSON.
Here we go, Welcome in. It is Follow the Money on Vson, v Sports, Betty Network. Mitch Moss, Paully Howard with you live downtown Las Vegas from the Circa Resort and Casee. You know, very busy three hour action pack program lined up to close up the week. In thirty minutes, Jeff Sherman joins the program VP Risk Management over at the Westgate. Big night for them annually last night every Thursday, the wait before the Super Bowl. They put out their props. Sharp betters flock to town if they don't live here to bet them. They take some nice limits. You can bet a couple at a time. Get back in line. We'll find out what was the most popular from Jeff at that time.
Yeah.
Mike Detillier on the program. The Big Game is in his backyard WWL and New Orleans. Good his pick on that. Also, Kellen Moore, he's gonna get another meeting with the Saints. He's a very heavy favorite to go there and be their next head coach. You're calling Richard Munchkin the best guest we've had in seven plus years on the show.
He's my favorite guest. Yes, that is strong. He's a professional. He's been to classes on storytelling. He was a professional advantage player, blackjack player, doesn't matter scouting, whoever the game would take you. He would go Russia, back rooms, whatever, the Russian mob story. I would say, are the top ten stories told on this show all time? He probably has three of them. And I remember the last time he was on, which was a while ago, and again it was a perilous trade when we were on four to seven Pacific in the morning. No one's gonna come in, what are you drunk? But Chris Phileek and his wife were listening and they were blown away, couldn't believe when he told the Scotland yard story. So we'll get in and tell that again.
It's a doozy. It's all time good yep. And he's also trying to transition into becoming a professional sports better now. Good for him, and we'll get into his biggest beats that he has with sports books.
Was retired, Yeah, he was talked out of it, and to get back and get into this racket and.
Mike so much on the program as well. So now I'm pretty much all the props are out for the game, right, I've been waiting. I've been taking my time. As I said yesterday, Stafford's team made fun of me, Mitch, I don't like the portfolio so far. Well, look, I mean this is a tough game for me to wrap my head around and try to build my case because I want to have like props that are I don't want to be all over the map with props, right, I kind of want to have them correlated and that way I can have either a very big day or potentially, you know, a very bad day. But so I've been waiting, taking my time, and made some more bets that will tell you about over the next three hours of the program. But we can begin Paul here with some of the creative props. I don't know if any of these are worth a stab in my opinion, but man, you can get some really big odds. I'm on some fun props to have throughout the day on Super Bowl Sunday. These are at CIRCA well any It's basically it's a fat man touchdown any player three hundred plus pounds to score touchdown here is twenty five to one. So you're gonna have to have a Jerry Carter type rumble in scoop and score, or probably a pass at the goal line to an offensive lineman.
Yeah, these are great, These are great, and has always shot because fat man touchdown offensive lineman twenty seven to one. Most places fourteen to fifteen. Yep, even lower.
How about not a touchdown? But will any offensive lineman have a reception? It's thirty five to one. I don't hate that because I guess in theory, yeah, you're going to get a smaller number underscore touchdown. But the offensive lineman could what recover a fumble? They could also put him in the backfield as a full back. I guess William Perry action he could get a carry that way. So the reception is thirty five to one. I would think if that's going to happen, it's going to be near the goal line.
Though.
Yes, will any player complete a pass to themselves? Yes, seventy five to one. Josh Allen. That happened to him right recently, and he scored the touchdown on the pass that technically went to him because Cooper led her to look back to him and that Sunday night game against the forty nine ers.
That's creative, Yeah, very good.
Will Mahomes or Hurts have a reception is plus twelve fifty?
That I don't like. No, I would eat a lot more than that.
Would you rather just bet over two and a half players to have.
At a plus price? Okay, yep, yep.
Will a kicker or a punter make a solo tackle? The yes is plus a twenty five. That's pretty random. Overall. You're gonna need a lot of kickoff returns, by the way, for that to help you out a little bit. And I mean the punt total is at six and a half, so probably not going to be you know, a lot of you might not even get double digit opportunities here for a kicker or punter, so that seems very unlikely. This came in last year, no problem. Fifty five yard plus field goal yes, plus six twenty five. Bucker is nails right now.
Still, I would trust him. I think that's some pretty good price. Yes, absolutely. The other one, it seems like it's happened a lot, but then you always remember it if it's in a big game because it's such a blunder kick out of bounds ten to one.
Yeah, Elliott be the guy.
I think that'd be Elliott.
If there's going to be a kicking blunder, I think it's going to be him.
Yeah, and we butt ger. I just tell him to bang it through the end zone every single time. Don't mess around?
Right?
Will either team convert a third or fourth down of twenty five plus yards? Yes? Plus eleven fifty and that's a what do you think of that one? That's really aggressive?
P I counts right. Yeah, you throw it up on third and twenty five. But they don't do that though, They'll probably just settle it for you know, quick dump off or a screen pass.
Have you seen roughing in the passer penalty?
I have not.
Will Hill used to put that up? Yeah, I didn't see it either. So you have that you have KC minus two dollars to convert a fourth down, Philly seven dollars. And then just to tie it in here, Westgate yesterday put up will you convert a fourth down in your own territory k C plus three seventy five Philly plus two fifty, So you have every angle covered with that prop.
Philly would be the team right own.
Territory, although he did it against the Bills.
Though, yeah, I'm just thinking of my head, like fourth in inches from the forty eight yard line. We're not going to punt this bad joy, so let's go out there and do the toush push. I guess so.
Good, good job guys.
No, those are very creative. The Westgate. Some of their props that came out last night. You can bet basically the first score of the game. They put up three and a half, four and a half, five and a half, six, all the way to seven and a half minutes. So that's a Paulie Howard dream come true. I think if you like to know on that, well, either teams score in the final three and a half minutes of the game three and a half minutes of the game, the Yes minus one ninety No plus one sixty five. What do you think of that one?
I like that. That's good.
You like to yes on that one.
I think it's risky business though, to bet will there'll be a score, like if you bet the No first three and a half minutes of the game, which is five dollars the Barkley factor. Sure, nah, that one. That's a little risky, but we know the history going back seven and one. As you said yesterday, what do you want to do with this one? And you have again you've specialized in kickers all year long. The total yardage of all field goals one sixteen and a half. Are we going to have enough field goals made to actually push that over that number? I don't know. That's a good question. This one's tough based on what happened two years ago. But also you have two aggressive coaches, so he better not try anything with Elliott from distance, although if you think he will again because he's stubborn. He is plus three thirty to miss a kick, to miss a field goal, and then extra point is is plus is almost five to one. So that's the one where it's how many do is Bucker get though? And then if it's fourth and shorter, they're going forward. That's a tough one.
That's the thing. Bucker could go over that number on his own cut. Yeah, you know so, I love this again. The idea of it. Will the game be decided by exactly one point is sixteen to one. Will the game be decided by exactly two points is also sixteen to one because of the two point conversion and the possibility of a missed extra point from your guy Jake Elliott here like those landing spots. Even the two. The two is kind of turning into that kind of a key number here has been for a minute, like, I don't that that's possible because of that. I you know again, look look at last week. It's twenty one. It's twenty two to twenty one at one point in the game because the Bills decided to go for two and they couldn't get him at all, rather than keeping the points on the board, of the extra points and that created like that wacky score that we had throughout the second half of the AFC title game.
You just stayed one thing to happen.
That's it.
That's anything a miss extra point, someone goes for it, doesn't get it well, and then it's uh, it's bananas and score Gami could come in all of that. That's all you need. Yeah, well, and I'm sorry, I was going to lead that into the two point conversion with there you go too. Both teams to attempt a two point conversion is five to one. Both teams to convert, which happened in both games by the way, Sunday, but both teams to convert as eleven to one to happen in both games. Last week was ten to one and that happened, So but we hold that covered.
Yeah, I don't remember that both teams converted a two point play last week. Both are both games. All both games. Both games were okay. So if you're going to bet that, I would say bet the attempts and not the conversions at the higher price, just bet the attempts.
At five to one, Philly failed on theirs, Washington got in and what was it? The Bills got one thicker.
Too, Yeah, and again two more here on Jke Elliott at the west gate. Will he miss an extra point just on his own? You can bet that at plus four fifty, or will he miss a field goal? Is plus three to twenty. I really wish this game was outside, and I'm with the potential of bad weather. Again, the numbers would not be that high on him, but everything like for him to have a bad game would definitely exist.
Lead change in the fourth quarter plus two thirty five not bad.
Well, I it's anything close to the game two years ago.
Again, well, herts have two touchdowns in any in the same quarters. Plus five point fifty.
That's passing and receiving. I'm sorry passing.
I think that's passing. I think it said it could be both. Actually off to look at the ho I wrote it down. Okay, aj Brown a touchdown and both have sixteen to one. Then you have the Kelsey props one hundred yards plus four fifty good data. Do excellent job over there as well.
This one's boring, but I did make a pretty decent bet on the Eagles team total over twenty three and a half. Huh, they're going to score some points in this game. Yeah, I know. The Chiefs defense is Spagnola. I mean he's like the best there is, right, and they have a game plan every single game. I just there are several different angles here for the blow Chiefs, even the Chiefs blowout. Okay, well that means the Eagles are going to be pressing the gas the entire game, but also with their home run hitters that they have on offense, I think twenty three and a half was absolutely worth a bet.

Yeah, I told you yesterday on the show. I was going to bet some exact scores. Again, very difficult to hit, but I think it could be like in that neighborhood of thirty one twenty six, thirty one twenty seven or thirty one twenty eight either way, and so I bet all six combinations of that at some pretty high numbers yesterday. Also this opened thirty five to one. I missed that number, but I put some pizza money at twenty five to one. It happened the last time they played, and a path exists for it to cash.
Yet again, this is puttle the money on visa.
So the Chiefs have won seventeenth straight one score games, NFL record, probably never going to happen ever again, and I've had people reach out saying, you know, why not just bet the Chiefs to win between like one and six or one an eight if you can find that, or you can flip it. If you think it's gonna be a close game, bet the Eagles as well, like the Chiefs won't get blown out. Well, specifically, if you want to zone in on the Chiefs to win by one score, like at the West Gate, they have the Chiefs to win between one and four points at four to one, and the Chiefs to win between five and eight points at plus five to fifty. You probably want to bet them both if you think it's just going to be the same old thing.
Right, have no doubt? Have you seen penalties?
No?
I have not.
That's the other angle. Twelve straight playoff games the opponent has been called for more penalties than Kansas City. Right, Oh, they're disciplined. Okay, get lost. I mean, that's just come on now, right ridiculously, it's Haley's commet if they, you know, thrown a flag on the Chiefs for offensive holding.
I know. Also another angle here very popular, the first time touchdown of the game. You can also bet, you know, for the playoff games, but specifically for the Super Bowl. Like at every sportsbook, you can find the player to score the first touchdown for his own team, right and those are now up readily available. I will give you this information all up at vsin dot Com. Great job by Adam Brooke doing this the entire year. So Kareem Hunt scored Casey's first touchdown five different times this year. He's around plus four fifty or five to one to score Casey's first touchdown in the game. Worthy did it four times, believe it or not, not the game, not the first touchdount of the game. Casey's first touchdown of the game surprising, so he is at five to one. Hopkins did it twice. Then it was Kelsey, Gray, Watson, Juju, and Mahomes each doing at one time. Kelsey only one time last year. I think it was when he went crazy scoring their first touchdown all the time for the Eagles. Barkley scored Phillies' first touchdown this year. I think it was six times. Hurts has done it five times. Barkley is two to one. Hurts is a little bit higher than that at three to one. Aj Brown did it three times. No other play player did it more than twice, more than once?
Actually, okay, so you didn't have Dotson in the Packer game, that's right. I think it was a huge price, that's right. Sixty five to one, I think right.
So here's the bet I was talking about before the break. It happened two years ago. And this, this to me, was worth putting a little piece of money down on it because there is you know, that history and how the Eagles might approach this when they score a touchdown. First of all, like Hurts, to score a rushing touchdown is almost likely to happen in the game. He does it so well. And so if he does score, and if they need to go for two, or if there's a penalty, for example on Casecene to get it to one, and they decided to go for two instead of taking a take the points of the extra point, they do the touch push. Jalen Hurts Octopus specific him twenty five to one last night if the West get had opened up thirty five to one. Missed that number, but I still thought twenty five to one, Okay.
I missed that. How many guys are listed.
You know, don't I don't even know to be honest, because I saw him and I'm like, that's good. Oh wow, now you have my attention. And evidently it had some other pro I don't know, maybe a pro better bed at last night if they saw that thinking the same thing, like thirty five to one is too good of a number to pass up. Usually that's not what they're doing pros any way, They're looking for other things. But that to me was first of all, that's, you know, extremely creative. I don't know if I've ever seen that one before, basically picking and choosing which player here, and they offered hurt so I'm like, okay, makes sense to me. Randy McKay was in the Las Vegas Review of Journal Today Professional Sports Better he loved the Mahomes rushing yards prop over twenty and a half, and Bill Krackenberger said that he wished that he could bet ten thousand at a time on Barkley under twenty five and a half longest rush. Yeah, loves it under.
Wow, Okay, that's surprising. I'm with him on my homes. But you have the ultimate home run hit or here he breaks one every game?
Well, he's here.
Also, you moved you moved it up five yards.
Though right and Krakenberger. He told Todd Dewey and the RJ last night that he used to be a ninety percent unders better like in this game. Now it's probably he said, he's evolved and now it's like seventy percent. But he's betting it again like he wants absolutely nothing to happen. I just don't.
You can't get there. That would stun you. You can't imagine give me a score, give me like, what are you thinking here? How about last year nineteen sixteen in that range likest sixteen sixteen late?
See I bet the game like that. Last year. I thought there was a path that I was hoping like it would be super low scoring, onlyfield goals. That was it, and for a long time that's what we were getting.
Im.
I don't think it's going to happen this year. I think Philly's offense is too good. This would I mean for this game to play out and be similar to last year, that to be to me would be almost as surprising as like Giants Patriots two thousand and seven.
They were rusty in the Houston game with all the time off. But then it's just it's bizarre where it's nobody did anything other than Kelsey, and then he spreads it around and Kelsey doesn't do anything, and they look great against Buffalo. So but Philly's got the nasty defense. So it's interesting how it'll play out. I don't know. I the more I think about it, I would be surprised if it's a low scoring. But you would have to get us. But it is certainly doable that you have a scenario. Long drives end in three long drives, end in three Eagles, long drive, go for it, don't get it. Stuff like that.
Well, you know what, there's a better example, I think in more recent years here than the two thousand and seven Patriots Giants game. Yeah, it was the game we talked about a little bit yesterday, and we were on the air for that game, the Patriots and the Rams that had a total in the mid fifties. Yeah, both teams were like machines on offense that year.
Stunned by that and stunned by because they had just played.
And it was thirty eight thirty five.
Yeah, with the whatever. Yeah, Moss went crazy, the long touchdown nuts, and then you open up and the Giants have the long drive, and then it's you look up in its halftime and what happened. Right, this is the number one offense in the history of the league.
But like that Rams game against the Patriots, and that was you know, Brady Belichick and the Pats were notorious for like scoring no points in the first quarter, right, So that was so much of a surprise. But it was the fact that with that Rams offense, they looked like garbage in that game. They looked like they were not prepared. It was sloppy, and they just they were completely inefficient.
Golf was terrible, terrible in the game. I'll give you another one. Remember one of your favorite Super Bowls Patriots Carolina. Wasn't that scoreless in the second quarter or something and then it just went crazy?
How about this? Two different courts, I look last night, two different quarters were scoreless and it flew over. Oh yeah, like thirty two to twenty nine.
Yeah, that game had everything. Awesome game.
And then John Carrey once they tie it up, I think twenty nine a piece, he kicks it out of bounds to give the Pats the ball at the forty yard line. Like what John Casey, like, I said, John, Jerry yep, I don't know. So you know again, we've been watching this. We're in our upper forties here, so super bowls like that have happened over and over again. But I also think like this Chiefs team is a little bit different than last year, don't you? Because last year what happened in the game against Baltimore on offense nothing not a lot right, and the forty nine ers came into that game with like a stellar defense.
And they put a heat on him. I know, yep, it's a tough game. The more I'd be shocked if it's a blowout either way. And I hope Sal's right that there's points, But it seems that's becoming a popular opinion though.
Now, well how about this scoring game? Let me flip it on you.
I also disagree. I love Stanford Steve I disagree with I don't think Pacheco has any role in this game. I don't think Pachecko does anything. Not the same player since the injury and did not look good at the last couple of games. And it's more emphasis on Hunt. Okay, so I don't want any Pacheco props.
If this game does turn into a blowout, which team do you think wins?
Boy? I would it never happens though. That's the thing that you can't blow this guy out. That's exactly right, other than the fluke with Tampa when he was down. Guys, but because I'm sitting here, I'd have to say, Hurtz turns it over and in the home there's too many weapons and Kelsey eat since everything over the middle, like Salthpal said.
And the Eagles are just sloppy and Barkley somehow fumbles a couple of times whatever. I don't know, but every fiber in my being is saying, of course it would be the Eagles because they have that blowout power to them. But we just we don't get it with in big games for Mahomes to get blown out.
Right, Yeah, sorry, last year has me shook. They were not that good. Yeah, they came stumbling in. I mean the the Raider game again, I referenced on Christmas. Come on, it was a hot dog stand what they were doing. And then they go out and they were okay. Saw the game against Miami. Miami can't play in the cold, and then you can't. You win at Buffalo, and you win at Baltimore, and Baltimore was much the best and they lose their minds. Just weird stuff happens when you play with the opponents, and what happens when you're going against Kansas City and maybe the pressure gets to you. I don't know, I'm sure, but I think I think Fangio's up to the task. And are you concerned all.
About Kellen Moore? That's a great question.
Is he focused on I'm taking the Saint job? I'm excited, but he's you know, he's right there too. What all right?
Here?
I am super Bowl backyard to Tillie coming up, I'm gonna be the next coach.
I want to say no, because it is a super Bowl and it's like the biggest moment ever to shine, right, So how how do you possibly let that idea becoming the Saint said coach distract you out of it? But I don't know. I've never been in shoes like that before.
It got the best of Ben Johnson, Yeah, I did. He certainly whether all these interviews and called a terrible game, and.
I thought his mind, I thought he was. I love Ben Johnson. He stunk against the Commanders.

Jeff Sherman joins the program. Coming up next, VP of risk Over at the super Book in Las Vegas. They released all their Super Bowl props last night. Pro Betters went there like they do on an annual basis to make their bets. What were some of the most popular props last night? And who does he like in the game next weekend.
This is full of the money on VSA.
Much more on the super Bowl here. As Jeff Sherman joins the program. He is the VP of risk Over at the super Book the Westgate here in Las Vegas, and he is on the Progressive guest line. Jeff, afternoon, thanks for the time today. How are you great?
How's it going? Guys?
Doing really well? So as you guys have done now for boy a couple of decades, going all the way back I think to the IP days, Imperial palace. You put up the props Thursday night and pro betters flocked to town again. If they don't live here already, they get in line, they make their bets. They can make a couple at a time, then they got to go to the back of the line to make a couple of more bets at that time. So what were some of the more popular bets via the pro betters that were there last night, Jeff, We had.
A few of them that people zeroed in on and someone were first reception by some players like DeAndre Hopkins, we got money over five and a half and six and a half yards who are currently sitting at.
Seven and a half.
Same thing with aj Brown over nine and a half and ten and a half on him, Jahan Dotson over a half reception. That was very popular, and we kept that on a half but moved the juwe so it went from flat to over a dollar fifty five. A number of players had to have a pass reception. We opened thirteen and a half flat, a lot of money on under that to minus one sixty and then a common one here each punter to have a touchback and with Ariza we opened No. Minus two to eighty. Yes, plus two forty.
That's down to No.
Minus two dollars yes plus one seventy and Bradon Mann for the Eagles No Minus three sixty yes plus three hundred down to No.
Minus two eighty yes plus two forty. So popularity there very good.
How much time does this take with all you guys to do this in the back room and put this all together.
Well, it starts even before we know the teams. You know, last week we're sitting down and trying to anticipate and get a head start.
And this year we are correct with the.
Eagles and Chiefs, and we started lining the names up in the system over the weekend and you know, if we're wrong, then we change one. Hopefully we don't go h to two. But this year we got a bit of a head start, so over the weekend we started that process. Then we get all the data together on Monday while we're doing some other weekly events, and then we sit down in the room on Tuesday Wednesday and really go prop by prop and got through it, and then Thursday kind of brush it up, double check things, and get it up Thursday nights. So it's about a week and a half process and you know, we don't have anyone that's on their normal day off schedule.
This week, all right, no question about that. Okay. So then as you guys were talking about it, you're formulating all these numbers of the conversations, did you at that point in your head go, oh my god, I really like a side now based on these numbers that we're putting together.
Yeah, I mean, it kept building us momentum towards the Eagle side. And you see the lower numbers that you're dealing on the Chiefs players relative to what we've seen in the regular season. And then the way that it came out with the Eagles players, you know, Barkley to score a touchdown, yes, minus two to ten. You factor that in, you know, Jalen Hurts his favorite to score a touchdown. And then one of the things of not too is when we had to look aheadline last week, we had Chiefs minus one, and now you had the Chiefs getting by the Bills, but the the Eagles getting by the Reds or the Common Commanders in a convincing fashion, and the line went higher to one and a half. So we basically went back to one, where our look aheadline is, and I would be surprised if the sharp players didn't come in on the Eagles plus.
One and a half, I asked, I asked Mitch about this if he saw it. And I remember William Hill one year had will there be a roughing the passer penalty up? Because of the opponent? Kansas City's opponent has been called for more penalties and twelve straight playoff games. Can you share what you have with that prop or what happened years ago?
Well, you know, we used to do penalty props involving referees a few years ago, and then we got to see some desist letter from the NFL that said that they no longer wanted us to be involved from that aspect. So we have not offered those in the last few years, and you won't find those on our better betting.
Venue this year, even though that's in the box score, right, and that was always the big thing. As long as it's in the box score, then it can be a betable prop. And you can look at any box score ever and it's going to say how many penalties and how many penalty yards each team had in the game.
Well, that's why we offered it back then. And you know, they just they did.
Not want us to have any involvement from that perspective.
Okay, right now I'm looking again on the Westgate app and yeah, you have Chiefs minus one minus one oh eight Eagles plus one minus one eight. What's the plan moving forward? And tell Super Bowl Game Day with that? Juice? Jeff, what are you guys going to do with that? Keep it at one oh eight?
Yeah?
You know, we've been at minus one o eight on the spreads all season long, and during the playoffs we've gotten down to a ten cent line. And so by next weekend we'll do it. We haven't picked out exactly which day it might be next Friday, but we'll do a ten cent spread on that and maybe even reduce the total and the money line a bit too. But come next weekend, when the bulk of the people are involved in the wagering aspect, it will be even more reduced.
Juice.
Okay, you also said not surprised to have sharp betters take the one and a half. Do you think there's an angle here where the Eagles actually might go off as the favorite or could this come down to a pick them?
I could see getting a pick them. I think that there will be enough public money on the Chiefs. You know, there's gonna be a lot of sentiment for them going for three in a row and people wanting to get behind that that you know, this is one game that we are overwhelmed with public money. So I don't think it'll go to Eagle's favorite. I could see get down a pick, but I'm anticipating there will be enough Chief support to keep it in that range, all right.
And then so if you like the Eagles by doing this and putting all the numbers together, and you're like, my god, it's really telling me here that Philadelphia might be the right side. With that opinion in mind, then do you do you think it's a good idea to add like Barkley or Hurts to win the MVP.
Yeah, it's not a bad idea because you're getting some nice plus money and I'd be hard pressed to see somebody else involved from that perspective. But you know, when we're going through this stuff, I can see Kansas City zeroing in on Barkley and trying to limit him and make Hurts beat the Chiefs any other way. So you might even get a little bit more value from the Hurts perspective.
The MVP than Barkley.
Did you say anything you liked or thought was miss price and took a stab with some props.
Well, initially, you know, we came out with the quarterback sacks at four and a half over thirty and I found five and a half under, So I played that one being a whole sack off and the juice not too different for what my liking was. But you know, right maybe you know, we're a little bit stronger on hurt scoring a touchdown. We opened, yes, minus one forty, no plus one twenty. We got in some initial no money because of the scalp out there, but you know, if he ends up getting around even money to score a touchdown, that our probability has a little bit stronger than that. So right now, just the quarterback sacks. But I'll be looking through everything that comes out over the next week.
Okay, percentage of handle that will be on the props at the west Gate compared to the actual game itself. Yeah, are you there? Oh, we lost him? Okay, Jeff Sherman on the line. He was on the line, and we will try to reconnect here. He is the VP of risk over at the West Kate super Book. Yeah, and he said that in this game, specifically for those who don't know, overwhelming amount of public money on the game compared to sharp money, and the prop bets will probably take higher than fifty percent. I think that's going to be the answer here of like the side slash total on the game as well, So try to get him back here in a second. He likes the Eagles, and I think that answer was really really good, Paul. They're talking about it in a room of oddsmakers coming up with their numbers and based on player props, odds to score a touchdown, all of it. It looks like it's definitely a Philly side here, and that's why he's on them. Makes sense to me.
Can you believe the league sent the letter? No, I'm on something innocuous like that, right, No, that's news to me. Yeah, No, wonder why that prop isn't up anymore because I remember William Hill used to put that up. I remember we were talking about it penalty again.
We always yell about this and scream about it on the air throughout the season. There's no accountability with the referees. You don't talk to anybody, So how sensitive are you as a league to look at that to find it and say Nope, that's not allowed anymore. It's in every box score ever. Chiefs six penalies forty nine yards, Eagles three penalies fourteen yards. It's right there. You can't put that up.
Roughing in the pass or whatever. Yes, sure, a PI call, whatever you're gonna put up.
I think I think you're right. His pass interference calls used to be up as well. Yes.
Oh so it goes back to what hockey le he did with the Saints game. Right. He gave the pool reporter a couple answers and okay, that's all, Like, I'm going to talk about it, but what what so you blew the call? That's right, you almost cost the Washington the game. What are are you talking about?
You?
This is the jop And then if you're criticizing me, you get fined. Of course. I saw Bean was talking about it that he had to dance around. Yes, Allen got the first down, but he couldn't come out and rip the officials. So we had that because he knew he get fined if he said something ACA nine getting ready for big game fifty nine with a big deal to match, say fifty nine dollars off the Vison Pro annual subscription when you sign up using promo code FtM. By the way, Jeff Sherman, bad connection there. We apologize, but we got in a lot of the conversation, which is good. He's on X at golf Odds. We wanted to ask a little bit about Pebble Beach here. This course is playing a little too easy this weekend.
Twenty four under gonna win.
Strac is at thirteen right now. He just gave one back. He's through sixteen.
Who haul in ones yesterday?
I know Henley's at eleven. He had a couple. That's no good. I have him in this tournament, but he bogied twice like I think in the final six holes. And you have Davis at eleven under. He's through thirteen. Females at ten. Hoyguards at ten, and so is Hodges McElroy. I think touched eleven under, but he's since given and some back here at Pebble Beach, so I don't know. Maybe it starts to correct itself a little.
Bit here, keep showing speak. He's twelve shots back.
I done enough, I know, all right, Paul. He's gonna recap last night's betting action and win some loose and that's next unfollowed the money, It's vs in d Sports Betting Network.
Were you a winner last night?
Winning?
Or was it a rough one?
There can't all be winners.
You're a loser.
Pollie Howard recaps the night in sports betting and win some.
Wild night last night. Let's start with the Lakers from five and a half up to nine. You were right, I was scared, no problem. This Wizard's team's a joke. First of all, I mean, yeah, I mean to be up thirty five without Anthony Davis on the road, whoa man?
How that opened five and a half. I totally missed that one. Yeah my god. I mean, I know they played a couple of nights ago, but that was Philadelphia we're talking about, and that was Davis was in that game, they're laying like three and a half or four. In a back to bat they open five and eight. Have you watched Washington play the roster looks okay, It's like, how are they this bad?
Their first road game in mid October they went to Atlanta and beat them. They haven't won a road game since Paul.
They won in twenty one on the road. I don't know. They must just be like, Okay, here's the ball, we're gonna roll it out. Let's go play forty eight minutes and then get out of here alive.
The Cardio don't win.
There's no coaching, there's no structure to the offense. It looks like a bad YMCA team. Yeah, it doesn't even look like a pro outfit, well said, I.
Mean, that is just they toyed with them. The game was over in the second goal.
Was that a thirty plus point lead at half times? Yeah? Yeah, I'll talk about this a little bit later on. I was so, I felt so good about my Austin Reeves props last night going in and he crushed it in the first quarter, and then something happened in.
The tabs an over nine and a half up to eleven and a half two thirty nine and a half up to two forty two and a half took out the Hawks. Blazers won again plus one seventy five. They are hot. That's six of seven. What happened last night in college basketball? Georgia State outright plus six fifty New Mexico State plus two fifty Louisiana Monroe catching fifteen and a half outright, plus nine fifty Lafayette plus twelve and a half outright plus five fifty Pacific getting eleven outright five to one. And don't forget about New Jersey Tech getting nine and a half outright plus four twenty five on a short car on a Thursday. Wow, and you're big.
Boy, nice little round robin there. Yeah.
Marc Andre fur shut out twelve to one. First player to have a shutout in his teens and in his forties. And that was a popular play and he gets it.
Done well right his last game probably ever in Montreal where he's from that area. Guy's been a legend now for twenty plus years playing goalie.
Is it just me? Does Columbus win every time they come out here?
That's another one they have. I think it's four and three overall. Or something like that. And last night that huge dog that's right.

Here's what happened in that Lakers game. By the way, so I bet all over Reeves props last night. He has really good numbers when there's no Anthony Davis in the game and he didn't play. So I bet the rebounds, the assist everything, right, triple double. He had five rebounds and three assists at the end of the first quarter. Well on our way, right, Like that's gonna be a fantastic outcome. However, he was also hill with the technical a couple of minutes left in the first quarter. He didn't come back in until like the eight minute mark. The Lakers were beating them by one hundred and so he had eleven, six and four at halftime, and my only prayer was, somehow, please Wizards get back into this game, or don't Yank Reeves put him out there with the scrubs the entire time. We're gonna have a shot at this bad boy, and that just never happened. The blowout angle was always there, the technical then taking him out for a big chunk, and then the game's over with when he comes back in. Really killed that idea. So here's an email ft atvsin dot com from Rob in New Jersey. Hey, Rob, the NFL does not want the prop betting on the refs because they are not registered like a traditional sports league. I have to mind, might have to run this by Mike Palm. He said, the NFL has the same registration and tax classification as the WWE. The MLB, NHL, and NBA are not registered that way. Imply from that what you will. Huge fan of the show, Rob, I don't know so he sounds like he knows what he's talking about. So I'll take his word for but I know nothing about that, but worth worth bringing up anyway.
I got two things for you here. One, Ben Fowks, so I'm going to bet Rivers bet fifty one thousand on no octopus yep, when it's fifteen dollars.
And I don't know about that one.
I don't know about that one either. After what you make in the case.
For hurts any of this other stuff that you throw at me, Like if somebody wants one hundred thousand on no overtime or no safety fine by me octopus, that can happen.
They also talked to Rogier. He said he couldn't comment on the investigation, but says I'm in a good headspace about what happened. And again you can there's receipts you can go back. You know, they touched on it briefly in the Wall Street Journal article and then David Purdham on ESPNTCH ESPN Shock as well. There's some interesting stuff out there about what happened on March twenty third.
Okay, yeah, so let me give you a couple of tweets about this again. We're talking about Terry Rogier under investigation. Story came out yesterday. He's made one hundred and thirty three plus million dollars in his career, currently under a four year, one hundred million dollar deal with Miami. On that date, March twenty third, twenty twenty three, Underdog NBA. It's a great follow. They have everything that you want to know about injuries in that league. Status alert, Terry rose Yier foot doubtful to return on Thursday. Then there is another account called calling our shot that quote tweeted it. I think they must have put out a play. They liked Roseier in that game that night, but they said this is fishy. Rogier had his lines taken down around two pm, no notice of an injury or anything wrong. All day long. Lines never came back up. Right then he only plays in quarter number one, exits with a quote injury, and this person at the account says, I'll take my loss, but this one doesn't feel right. They were onto that immediately two years ago to.
Take them all down and then it never comes back up, and then that happens. Incredible. I just again, I like the angle helping out his fellow, helping out his buddies, his fellas. Whatever, Hey, I'll throw you a bone. How about this little a little banged up. I'm gonna give it a go and then tap out early.
But so he wants to find another angle of providing money other than a straight salary from the NBA.
What a wild story. Incredible?
Oh God, again, as you kept saying yesterday, the Porter stuff, I can see it. Five hours, thousand dollars a year down. Big, yes, right, Rosier is making so much more money than that. It's not even close. I don't know. Bizarre to me, Well, yeah, bizarre.
But also the Porter thing. You could have pulled it off if yous wouldn't sound of the alarms. I mean it's it's like the guy, the guy with the college baseball I have inside information. I mean this is, hey, can I get a same game parlay on Porter for eighty grand to win one point one million?
What?
And then they take it? But and then the other people just say, okay, don't say anything on they Okay, let me text my buddies, Hey, Porter's going out I injury early. Get on here.
Here's what we need to do. There are a bunch of pro betters who we know in town. For the Super Bowl, like a Randy McKay type. Frank b next week, we need to have a conversation about Alan Boston would be awesome about this as well, getting money down, massaging it so you don't sellnd the alarms. I mean, eighty thousand on a parlay and Johnte Porter, I don't care how big of a VP you are. Something has to go off upstairs, like, eh, that doesn't make sense to me.
A guy like that, absolutely right right.
Spread out the money, have the outs. Don't be an idiot, you know, I mean that. Yeah.
Porter is not a big deal. I mean he was a I mean I mean the rosier excuse me, because he was averaging five and four right right, that's no big deal.
But this is geez, this is a totally different balgain we're talking about here.
Huh.
Yeah, there's so much more to this story. There has to be come on.
Yeah, and then they the Pat Forty thing. When we were talking about the story yesterday, Forty says multiple colleges could be involved, but they have their hands over a lot of on a lot of stuff.
