Meet Deja Foxx now, because she’s going all the way. One of the youngest people in modern history to have worked on a presidential campaign, she not only intends to run for the White House “but I intend to win.” As one of the one in three young Americans who are ‘hidden homeless’, she stood up to senator Jeff Flake over his attempt to ban women from access to Planned Parenthood. “Why would you deny me the American Dream?” she asked. She was just 16 years old. Her protest went viral, and a political and personal star was born. She hasn't wasted any time since, and at the age of just 21, has already helped her heroine Kamala Harris become the first female, first Black and first Asian American Vice President, has become an active campaigner for reproductive justice and founded a digital community, GenZGirlGang, that seeks to redefine the way women and femmes do business, create relationships and build society.
