This episode is brought to you by the NCRTD Blue Bus.

This week on Voices of Taos, sports editor Blynn Beltran talks toTaos High School's varsity head coach of the volleyball team, Rachel Rael. Beltran and Rael discuss the team’s success last year, which was the program's best since 1987, and how this year's team is topping it. Rael was born and raised in Taos and played a variety of sports as a Tiger, including basketball and volleyball.

Rachel and Blynn talk about how the team deals with change as seniors leave and new players come in, and how all players push each other to play their best. Coach Rael notes that Isabell Lucero, a junior captain of the team, has been a major contributor to their winning streak as a setter. "Her being our setter has really helped us reach a higher level of play," Rael said after the interview. "She really helped us with her versatility, and her skills are unmatched in that position."
