This week's guest is James Duran, Forest Service Supervisor for the Carson National Forest. James is from Cuba, NM and has spent his career in forestry and land management all over New Mexico and the West. Geoffrey and James talk about "priority landscapes" in the Enchanted Circle.These places require active management to prevent extreme wildfires. They also chat about the new Forest Mayordomo project, which is modeled after New Mexico's acequia system.
