What an inspiring afternoon on Voices@Alive! 🎶

Today, I had the pleasure of welcoming internationally acclaimed Turkish musician, composer, vocalist, bağlama virtuoso, and music therapist Muharrem Aslan to the Alive 90.5 FM studios.

Our conversation took us on an extraordinary journey—from his beginnings in Türkiye to his life in Australia, his passion for preserving Anatolian musical traditions, and his innovative Fourtemolo technique, which is expanding the artistic possibilities of the bağlama.

One of the highlights of the program was experiencing live music in the Alive 90.5 FM studios. Muharrem's performance was both captivating and deeply moving, reminding us that music is a universal language that connects cultures and brings communities together.

We also spoke about his upcoming performances at the Bondi Festival, his solo concert at the Living Room Theatre in Marrickville, and his appearance at the Tablelands Folk Festival in Queensland.
