Dr Tim Henwood is the Group Manager, Research & Development, Southern Cross Care , and a strong advocate for better health practices in the aged care sector. As an academic, he produced evidence substantiating that you are never too old to push back on disability, produced a number of peer reviewed and sector publications, and worked on a number of groundbreaking projects. 

In his current role, Dr Henwood is focused on the research and translation of good aged care practice to service delivery, with a specific interest in the impacts of multidisciplinary care planning and exercise to positively influence the wellbeing of older Australians.
