In this PODCAST we talk about the great service for Carers in Your Caring Way. 

Your Caring Way is in partnership with Carers South Australia, Carers Tasmania and is an initiative of Carers Queensland.  It is a Federal Government, Department of Social Services funded program. 

The program was launched on 20 April 2020. To qualify for the program, you need to be an unpaid or under employed Carer from 18 years and beyond who is primarily looking after a family member, friend, or a previous Carer, that has stopped caring in the past two years.  It focuses on Carers wishing to pursue their career goals which Your Caring Way support.  The following link will take you to our website http://yourcaringway.com.au.

There are no fees or charges involved this is purely supporting our Carers toward building a new future.

These goals could include:
Upskilling their existing skills with soft skill training.
Carers wishing to study.
Carers looking to volunteer.
Carers looking to return to paid employment.
Cares looking to set up their own business.
Post Placement Support for 12 months.
External Referrals for Lifestyle Supports.
Carer Friendly Organisations supporting the program with potential interviews.

The programs, Vocational Support Officers work closely with their clients/carers supporting them from start to finish with their vocational journey which includes post placement support for 12 months once their goal has been achieved.
