Dr Rosalind Powrie, Womens and Childrens Health Network.
Dr Rosalind Powrie BMBS FRANZCP is an Accredited Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist with over 30 years experience in community and hospital settings. For the past 20 years she has worked in the Perinatal and Infant Mental Health Team at Womens and Childrens Hospital, Womens and Childrens Health Network in Adelaide. She has extensive experience training and teaching in child, adolescent, perinatal and infant mental mental health, and currently is focussed on teaching and training teachers to deliver Mindfulness Based Childbirth and Parenting groups (MBCP) to expectant parents. She was a visiting psychiatrist to Maari Ma Aboriginal Health Corp in Broken Hill for 10 years until 2020 and a founding committee member and past president of the SA Branch of the Australian Association for Infant Mental Health and former National Board Member. She is strongly engaged in advocating for Early intervention in mental health and early in life.
