Event Management: Her career commenced in event management, where she orchestrated successful events and built a reputation for her problem-solving skills.
Automotive and Equestrian Events: Christine ventured into diverse industries, managing projects related to cars, including the Bay to Birdwood, and horses, where she served as the event manager of the Adelaide International Horse Trials.
Volunteer Programs: She developed and spearheaded the largest microchipping program in the southern hemisphere, 'Chipblitz,' showcasing her ability to design and lead volunteer-driven initiatives.
Fashion Industry: Christine served as the President of the Fashion Industries of Australia and Chair of the Australian Fashion Awards, leaving an indelible mark on the fashion world.
Sports Management: Her leadership extended to the realm of sports as she held the position of head of Hockey SA, working with sporting legends to drive success.
Food Industry: Combining her passion for project success and her love for food, Christine assumed the role of transforming the Adelaide Showground Farmers' Market as Chief Executive Officer. Her management skills and dedication helped the market thrive even during the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. Under her leadership, the market received prestigious awards, including the 'Most Outstanding Farmers' Market' in Australia in the delicious. Harvey Norman Produce Awards 2022 and the 2022 South Australian Premier's Food and Beverage Award for Service Provider and the ‘2023 Excellence in Food Tourism Award’.
In addition to her professional accomplishments, Christine has held several influential roles:
Executive Officer, Entrepreneurs Organisation - Adelaide Chapter: Christine served as the Executive Officer of the Entrepreneurs' Organization (EO) Adelaide Chapter, where she played a pivotal role in fostering entrepreneurial growth and innovation within the local business community.
Officer in Charge, Australian Electoral Commission (AEC): Since 1976, Christine has been a dedicated Officer in Charge with the Australian Electoral Commission, overseeing critical responsibilities that uphold democracy and civic participation.

Board Positions: Christine's commitment to community welfare and various industries is evident through her past board positions on the Animal Welfare League, St Johns Youth Services, and the Council of Textiles and Fashion Industries of Australia.
Furthermore, Christine is a dedicated Justice of the Peace, playing a vital role in the administration of justice and community service and upholds her love for Australia, as an Australia Day Ambassador.
Her profound dedication to the community has not gone unnoticed. Christine has been honoured with multiple awards, including the City of Charles Sturt 2022 Citizen of the Year, the 2022 South Australia Citizen of the Year, and the 2023 Australian of the Year - SA's Local Hero. In recognition of her extensive community work, she was recently awarded the Order of Australia Medal in the June 2023 King's Honours List and is now an inductee into the 2023 SA Women’s Honour Roll.
