You have lived long enough to know that hardships will come. Some that may have shook you to your core, others that may have you viewed as misunderstood and of course those that have caused you to fall flat on your face. However, your foundation remains underneath you. It’s where your values have kept you grounded, where your happiness stems from and where your faith is rooted. So why do you worry? Why do you doubt your potential? Why are laying dormant on your purpose?

Save your excuses.

In the midst of chaos, you must remind yourself of these three words, “I will survive.” Declaring you will survive is simply stating that despite danger or hardship, you will make it through. Remind yourself that you weren’t built to fail, doubt what is that you want or who you are meant to be. Take note from legendary disco diva, Gloria Gaynor in her hit single, “I Will Survive” and speak to your hardships and say, “Did you think I'd crumble? Did you think I'd lay down and die? Oh no, not I! I will survive!” Hey!
