First Part of the Interview: Vision 2030 talks to David Oyelowo OBE, also known as 'David O', a classically trained stage actor who has quickly become one of Hollywood's most sought-after talents.  

He graduated from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA), and received the "Scholarship for Excellence" from Nicholas Hytner in 1998.   

‘David O’ has continued to raise support for the Leadership Scholarship over the last four years, which is now providing thirty-two girls with an education in Nigeria.  

Oyelowo was appointed Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) by Queen Elizabeth II in the 2016 New Year Honours for his services to drama.

Vision 2030 radio show, only on channel Africa is an educational talk show. The show is design from an African Perspective, to give Africans especially the Youth an opportunity to take on key leadership roles in understanding, promoting and supporting the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and African Governments National Development Plan (NDP) in order to achieve the UN’s 2030 Agenda.

The show aims to mainstream the SDGs and the alignment of the National Development Plan through Channel Africa radio. Breaking down the different components of the SDGs/NDP in manageable chunks so that the African public can have a better understanding of the SDGs/NDP and their objectives.
