This week on Vision 2030, we focus on youth empowerment initiative in South Africa. 

We talk to Bashir Amir Mukonge the Founder and Chairperson Youth Employment Initiative South Africa (Yeisa). 

Mukonge 45yrs is a journalist by professional, Ugandan by nationality South African permanent resident. 

Bashir is Based in Durban he is a Self Employed business man he has been in South Africa Since 2007 Responsible person with family ties Married to Philisiwe Mukonge Having children here in South Africa as well as in Uganda Kampala. 

Worked as journalist for 7yrs in Uganda at a private local Radio station called Radio Simba 97.3fm. 

From 1999 to 2005. Bashir is holding a diploma in mass communication and journalism which he studied at Umcat School of journalism in Uganda. 

Bashir is talking about how Government should give grants to youth entrepreneurs to start their own businesses rather than having unemployed youth who is getting grants and not spent it wisely…
