We are talking to Mr. Joseph Gerassi, the Executive Head of Redhill School. Mr. Gerassi has extensive experience in preparing young people for the world they will one day lead, and has spent his 30-year career constantly re-imagining and re-examining educational best practice.

He believes that innovative and forward-thinking concepts influence educators and students but, more importantly, provide the courage and skills to engage with an ever-changing environment. A distinguished lifelong educator who began his career as a History teacher in 1989, Joseph has a Bachelor of Education (Honours) and a Masters in Education.

He is a sought-after speaker and presenter, frequently called on for his comments on 21st century education. Gerassi is talking about possible solution through which we can buy back over 200 hours of contact teaching time per year within the school day and how Redhill School is recognized academically on the international front.

We then talk to to Chloe-Eloise Akouba Mallet an International Baccalaureate graduate student of the class of 2021 who has been a student at Redhill School since 2014. Chloe is a true leader.

She was elected Chair of the Student Council for 2020/2021, allowing her to be the voice of the student body. She thrived in this position and was well-respected by the students and staff. In 2019 and 2020, she also served as Vice-Chair of the Social and Civic Committee.

Academically, Chloe has chosen a diverse subject package consisting of Mathematics AI (SL), English Language and Literature (HL), French Ab Initio (SL), History (HL), Biology (SL) and Visual Arts (HL). She works immensely hard and enjoys the challenges of school.

Chloe was awarded Academic Honours in 2021. Extramurally, Chloe is an avid ballet dancer. She has received accolades for her dancing, reaching the semi-finals of the Dance World Cup, winning Best Classical Solo at Concours de Danse and she passed Advanced Levels 1 and 2 with distinction and merit in her final examinations for the Royal Academy of Dance.

She is talking about her final year at Redhill School where she graduated as an International Baccalaureate student.
