First Part of the Interview: We are talking to Mr. Richard Rieser the General Secretary of the Commonwealth Disabled people’s Forum and Ms. Thandiwe Mfulo the Vice Chairperson of the Commonwealth Disabled People’s Forum. Vision 2030 radio show, only on channel Africa is an educational talk show. We first talk to Isabel Santagostino Recavarren. She joined the Women, Business and the Law team in 2015 and she currently leads its work from the Research and Development Center in Chile as Private Sector Development Specialist.  

Previously Recavarren worked on researching and analyzing laws and regulations on violence against women.  Prior to joining the World Bank Group, she worked at the Inter-American Commission of Women and at the Office of the Assistant Secretary General of the Organization of American States.

She is talking about the work The World Bank is doing for Women in Business and Law in Africa.

We then talkto Afzal Parambil the Regional Manager for South Africa at Emirates Airline. Parambil joined The Emirates Group in 2002 and served as Manager, Commercial Operations and Country Manager, Ethiopia for The Emirates Group.

Parambil is talking about Emirates recovery plan and their participation in the Tourism Indaba in Durban, South Africa.

First Part of the Interview, we are talking to Maura Leary she is the Director of Communications at the African Center for Economic Transformation (ACET). 

Previously Maura was the Communications Lead for the World Bank Group's Office of the Chief Executive Officer, the Communications Lead for the Poverty and Equity Global Practice, managing strategic communications and outreach on poverty reduction, equity, and inequality.  

Before that, she worked as a partnerships and communications specialist on the Gender and Development team, and produced the short documentary film “Mind the Gap: Gender Equality and Trade in Africa” in 2013. 

Maura is talking about the important role ACET is playing in Africa through researches, reports and consultations with its headquarters in Accra Ghana.
