Meet David (@librarialstudy on Twitter). During the height of the pandemic, and working from home, David was feeling unhealthy, and disconnected. He decided to get out for daily walks. That’s when he noticed how much trash was in the neighbouhood. “Litter doesn’t belong on our streets, on our sidewalks, on our trails or in our parks” so he started picking it up! Since then, he’s removed close to 3200 litres of garbage from the streets of Fernwood, North Park, and Hillside/Quadra neighbourhoods…and is still going!
