Happy at Home Halifax began in January 2024. This project is overseen by Spencer House Senior Centre and Chebucto Links. It came to be because the leadership of these centres identified another way to help seniors through in home supports and service navigation. There is a genuine heart behind this project that strives to be a voice for seniors and their well being. It takes a village, shouldn’t just apply to raising children… everyone deserves to have a village to support and care for them. Through the service navigation and free in home supports, seniors can find assistance in accessing services, receiving meals, grocery and pharmacy items or help with light home maintenance projects so Halifax seniors can be happier at home.
