You should test for COVID if you have cold symptoms. If you have COVID, you should stay home for five days and until symptoms go away.  



If your test is negative, you should stay home until your symptoms go away and take a RAT test each day over the next few days.



It is a good idea to contact your doctor to check if you’re eligible for COVID medicines which may prevent you getting very sick with COVID. These medicines work best within 5 days of getting COVID symptoms.
