COVID cases are increasing in Victoria. Together, we can protect vulnerable people in our community from getting very sick with COVID.
The Victoria Department of Health encourages you to follow some simple steps to protect yourself and loved ones.
- Get your 2023 booster vaccine at your local pharmacy or GP
- Do a COVID Test if you have any cold symptoms
- If you have COVID, stay home for at least 5 days and until you have no symptoms
- Wear a mask to protect yourself and others, especially indoors when others are present or in crowded areas.
- Catch up with family and friends outdoors or let fresh air in by opening windows
- Talk to your GP about COVID medicines – if you have COVID and are eligible, it is important to start these as soon as possible to reduce the chance of getting seriously ill.
