In Episode 59, Stuart McCullough talks to Alec Djoneff about clause 34 of the new Medical Scientists Agreement. The clause requires the backfill of staff on planned and unplanned absences where the absence is for two weeks or more.  It also outlines obligations to manage workload if, after best endeavors, a suitably qualified and experienced person isn’t available for backfill.  Alec outlines not only the history of the clause, but how clause 34 was developed.
