This week Stuart invites Industrial Relations Consultant, Emma Scott to discuss NERR & EBA Process. NERR stands for Notice for Employee Representational Rights which is notice required by the Fair Work Act to be given to eligible employees as soon as practical but no later than 14 days after an employer agrees to bargain a new EBA for staff. It is emphasised that issuing an NERR is absolute requirement and must occur. The purpose of the NERR is to let employees know that they have a right to represented.
