Welcome.
It is Verdict with Senator Ted Cruz Ben Ferguson with you. We are going to build on the show that came out on Monday, and if you missed that podcast, go back and listen to it.
We are talking about the.
IRS whistleblower, and that whistleblower has now come forward and done an interview with CBS News. Senator that's shocking and on its own right there.
Well, in the last forty eight hours, the situation has gotten far more perilous for Joe Biden for the White House. As we discussed on Monday's podcast, we did a deep dive into the allegations from the two IRS whistleblowers that came to Congress, came to the Houseways and Means Committee. In the forty eight hours that have followed, several things have happened. Number one, one of those whistleblowers has gone public and CBS News has reported on it. And it is a big deal for the corporate media, which has spent the entire Biden presidency shilling for and covering for Joe Biden and the Democrats, to suddenly be reporting on these facts. Now, I will point out, Where's ABC, Where's NBC? But the fact that CBS is doing this, that's a big deal. Where's CNN, Where's MSNBC. Apparently none of the rest of them cover news, but CBS. You're starting to see the first rats fleeing from the sinking ship, and the substance of these allegations are really disturbing. You're going to hear two minutes of it on CBS and then what we're gonna do on this podcast is actually break down the real substance of exactly what is in those allegations and why it poses big, big trouble for Joe Biden.
Yeah, at least CBS is doing it. As you described it, it's to be honest with the audience. There's no way you can cover what this story really is in two minutes, and that's where we're going to tell you everything. They didn't take a Listen though, to CBS News talking with this whistleblower and actually leading the nightly news with this.
Now to VS News exclusive with the first television interview with IRS whistleblower Gary Shapley since he spoke with lawmakers last month. A lead investigator in the Hunter Biden case tells CBS's Jim Axelrod that he felt the president's son received preferential treatment, and in a stunning claim says that he was blocked from pursuing leads that could have led to the President himself.
If this was any other person they liked, it would have already served their sentence.
Gary Shapley was a lead IRS supervisory agent in Operation Sportsmen, the investigation into Hunter Biden. Shapley said he uncovered conduct that warranted more serious charges.
There were personal expenses that were taken as business expenses, prostitutes, sex club memberships, hotel rooms for purported drug dealers.
How much Hunter Biden o in taxes.
So from twenty fourteen to twenty nineteen it was two point two million dollars.
The back taxes were paid off, and last week, the Trump appointed US attorney in Delaware, David Weiss, reached an agreement with Hunter Biden. The President's son would admit to a firearm charge and plead guilty for his failure to pay taxes. If a judge signs off, the deal means no jail time testimony.
We have just released details a lack of US attorney independence.
And Shapley told lawmakers the US attorney Weiss was blocked from bringing stronger charges, but US Attorney General Merrick Garland said last week that Weiss.
Was not I'm saying he was given complete authority to make all decisions on his own.
I documented exactly what happened, and it doesn't seem to match what the Attorney General or the US Attorney are saying today.
Shapley provided lawmakers this contemporaneous email he wrote after an October meeting last year. Shapley says Weiss told him the opposite, that Weiss is not the deciding person on whether charges are filed.
It was just shocking to me.
Shapley, who is still working for the IRS, told us that even before President Biden took office, he was directed to avoid leads involving Hunter's father.
There were certain investigative steps that we weren't allowed to take that could have led us to President Biden.
And you wanted to take them.
We needed to take them, and you weren't allowed to take That's correct.
It is important to point out that at that point in Shapa's investigation, Donald Trump was still president and his Attorney General, William Barr, had rules in place that may have limited what Chapley could pursue. The US Attorney's office in Delaware had no comment. As for Hunter Biden, his attorneys did not respond to us, but he said before in a statement that he is taking responsibility for mistakes he made during a period of turmoil in his life.
There it is turmoil, right, it will blame it on turmoil. CBS News capturing this, And there was also something else interesting that came out center. Not only did Hunter Biden get invited to State dinner this week, but apparently he left with his dad after the second whistleblower comes out to go to Camp David. And we were told, at least through some in the media that lawyers were there as well. That doesn't sound like a normal response to whistleblowers. I'm being sarcastic, right, It's like they said, all right, we got to go to Camp David.
Now this is getting real.
Well, it is difficult to overstate how bad the developments have been for Joe Biden and the White House in the past several days these allegations. If what the whistleblowers are saying is true, then Joe Biden flat out lied and is very likely guilty of serious criminal conduct, guilty of multiple felonies. If what the whistleblowers is saying is true, then Merrick Garland, the Attorney General of the United States, likely committed both perjury are actually lying under oath to Congress and obstruction of justice, both serious felonies. On the podcast on Monday, I called for a special counsel to be appointed to investigate Merrick Garland as to whether he lied under oath to Congress in response to questioning that I asked him before the Senate Judiciary Committee, and also whether he personally committed or at his direction, had committed obstruction of justice. I have also on this podcast repeatedly called for Merrick Garland to be impeached. In the last forty eight hours, the House of Representatives took a major step forward in doing so. Take a listen to Kevin McCarthy explaining why.
Well, you apparently don't follow me on Twitter because yesterday I laid out very very clearly by July sixth, because of the allegations from the IRS, because of the whistleblowers and the DOJ Garland, what he is saying and what David Weiss are saying privately are two different things. And if it comes true, what the IRS whistleblower is saying, we're going to start impeachment inquiries on the Attorney General. Well, because as a matter of fact, it shows that.
And so it would be great if you had called your panel. You've got the whistleblower, you've got the Attorney General, and you've got the US Attorney seeing different stuff.
Yeah.
But what's interesting is the IRS whistleblower that has no political background, took copious notes, can tell you the date, can tell you the people in the meeting.
He said, so we could hear a.
Screen, so we could bring six other people in. And the US Attorney you said this here, but the Attorney General says something different, said you had all power and you did not.
You had all power, but you did not.
Well, that's exactly right.
And I will say when you when you watch this IRS whistleblower on CBS, you see that this is by all appearances, not a partisan, not a Republican, not someone with an ax to grind. Instead, this is a career IRS employee, a supervisor, who certainly appears to be horrified at what he saw. And it's important this is something Kevin McCarthy emphasized. If what he is saying is true, then both the Attorney General and the President of the United States are flat out lying because it is completely inconsistent. It's possible that the whistleblower is lying. But I'll tell you what. There's a second whistleblower. There's a second whistleblower who from the irs, who came forward, who stayed anonymous. He calls himself mister X. But let me tell you what. The second whistleblower. How he described himself in his testimony. He says, quote, I'm an American and my allegiances are to my country and my government. I'm also a gay man. I have a husband, two dogs, a home, and a life full of family and friends. But above else, I'm a human being. My sexuality does to find me as a person. It's just who I love. I'd like to say one more thing regarding this topic sexuality, especially since it's the start of Pride Month. But people have said that I'm gay, and people have said, because I'm gay and that I'm working on the case agent in this investigation, that i must be a far left liberal perfectly placed to fit some agenda. This was the stuff that was on social media regarding me. I can tell you or that I am none of these things. I'm a career government employee and I've always strived to not let politics enter my frame of mind when working cases. I've also tried to stay so non political that in the last presidential election, I voted, but I had decided to not vote for the presidential candidate because I didn't want to be asked that question at a court proceeding in the future, and I didn't want to show any potential bias. My political beliefs are simple. I'm as middle of the road as they come, but would consider my myself to be a Democrat. Now that's one of the two whistleblowers, a gay man with a husband who's a Democrat.
The other.
They're both career IRS employees, and I got to say, on the face of it, their testimony has very significant credibility.
If what they are saying is true.
Merrick Garland in all likelihood committed at least one felony, if not multiple felonies, and Ben let's walk through specifically what those allegations are. Kudos to CBS for saying the allegations are there and saying, well, there were steps they wanted to take, but let's walk through specifically what was stated.
Before you get through those steps, I want to tell you about our good friends of Augusta Precious Metal. If you've been saving for a long time, you know how important it is to protect your assets, protect your money, and you can do that with a gold IRA. I'm excited to tell you about a company that I trust and that is a Gusta Precious Metals. They are different because they will even tell you if a gold IRA isn't your answer. So if you want a company that you can sit down with, do a one on one web conference with and talk to them about diversifying and protecting your assets. You've probably seen what's happened in your four one K or your IRA. If you're ready to protect your dollars, then call Augusta Precious Medals. Not only will they send you the free guide on gold, but they'll do the one on one conference with you as well for free eight seven to seven. The number four gold IR that's eight seven to seven, the number four gold IRA visit them online and Augusta Precious Medals dot Com that's Augusta Precious Metals dot Com center. I want to go through that list you just mentioned because it's so important that people understand these allegations and what they're accusing. Not only those under Garwin, but the cover up with the Bidens clearly have to be involved in this.
Yeah, that's exactly right. Here's how the Houseways and Means Committee described the evidence. They said, quote whistleblowers describe how the Biden Justice Department intervened and overstepped in a campaign to protect the son of Joe Biden by delaying, divulging, and denying an ongoing investigation into Hunter Biden's alleged tax crimes. The testimony shows tactics used by the Justice Department to delay the investigation long enough to reach the statute of limitations evidence. They divulged sensitive actions by the investigative team to Biden's attorneys, and denied requests by the US attorney to bring charges against Biden. Houseways and Means Committee continued IRS employees who blew the whistle on this abuse were retaliated against despite a commitment IRS Commissioner were full made before the Ways and Means Committee to uphold their legal protections. They were removed from this investigation after they responsibly worked through the chain of command to raise these concerns. Now, what did the whistleblowers testimony reveal? It revealed that the IRS removed the whistleblowers from the Hunter Biden investigations, and in fact, they were punished as mister Shapley was not selected for a promotion after he blew the whistle and when he was more qualified than the candidate who was selected.
And specifically, the.
Whistleblowers stated that agents sought to perform a physical search of Joe Biden's guest house where Hunter Biden was staying. However, the assistant US attorney on the case named Leslie Wolf questioned quote whether the juice was worth the squeeze and noted that quote optics were a driving factor in the decision on whether to execute a search warrant. She further indicated that quote, a lot of evidence in our investigation would be found in the guest house of former Vice President Biden, and she concluded that quote, there is no way we will get that approved.
Now.
Beyond that, assistant of US Attorney Wolf went even further in obstructing the investigation, and Shapley noted that quote if there was a quote big guy in the transcript, Wolf was either going to directly berate you or she was probably going to give you the silent treatment, which was one of her tactics for a couple of weeks. Weeks and talk behind your back. Now, who is this assistant US Attorney Wolf? Well, Her husband Daniel donated fourteen times to Obama for America Wow during both the two thousand and eight and the twenty twelve campaigns, seven times in two thousand and eight, seven times in twenty twelve for a total click.
If that's a hardcore donor, people need to understand that that's not just like hey, you got a family friend and they say, hey, give a little donation cover the house for an event.
That's hardcore activism.
He gave a.
Total of one thy one hundred and seventy five dollars, so little less than one hundred bucks each each time for the fourteen times the two of them were married in two thousand. The contributions occurred during their marriage and actually Assistant US Attorney. Wolf herself donated to Act Blue in twenty twenty in a donation earmarked for Senator Amy Klobachar's Democrat presidential campaign. She also donated to Josh Shapiro, a Democrat, in his twenty twenty two bid to become Pennsylvania governor. So you've got a prosecutor who is a Democrat donor married to another Democrat donor, who's refusing search warrants because she says, quote, the juice is not worth the squeeze. And I got to say, by the way, that's the same damn phrase the administrator at Stanford Law School said when she was siding with the mob that was heckling Judge Kyle Duncan. She says, is the juice worth the squeeze? I wonder the leftist is this some lingo in leftist world that that they're using when they're doing something wildly improper.
Yeah, it's their alibi, right, it's there, Get out of jail, car. Oh, it's just not worth it. It's not worth the turmoil or the exhaustion. It's it's part of I think the wok idiology. It's like, oh, well, we just don't want to touch that right, it's not.
Worth it well, and it gets worse. On December eighth, twenty twenty, the IRS and FBI agents wanted to interview Hunter Biden in Los Angeles. Now, Hunter Biden had Secret Service protection, and so during the preparation for the Hunter interview, Assistant US Attorney wil Wolfe specifically prohibited the agents from asking about incriminating terms of previously released emails, specifically the quote ten held by h for the Big Guy, or asking any questions about quote Dad or the Big Guy. So she made clear you're not allowed to ask about Joe Biden. We are protecting if the whistleblower is what they're saying is true. She was specifically building a wall to protect Joe Biden. Now, before they embarked on the interview, the agents discovered that the night prior, on December seventh, twenty twenty, FBI headquarters notified Secret Service headquarters and word of the plan reached Hunter Biden. So the day before the interview, FBI tips off Hunter, hey, we're going to come by and question you tomorrow, and as a result, on December eighth, they learned that their plan to interview Hunter Biden changed in the new plan, including providing the Secret Service in Hunter Biden's with the agent's telephone numbers if they wished to interview him. Afterwards, the agents received phone calls from Biden's counsels indicating that they were to contact Hunter through council. So what it means is the agents were prevented from doing what's called a knock and talk, which is showing up and talking to Hunter Biden in a spontaneous way in which he could reveal critical information or falsehoods. Instead, the FBI gave him the heads up to prepare with counsel so that he could he could work with lawyers to make sure they knew exactly what he said. Two days later, on December tenth, agents met with prosecutors to discuss the fact that Hunter had vacated the Washington d C. Office of OWASCO and his documents went to a storage unit in northern Virginia. The IRS prepared a search warrant to search the storage unit, but the assistant US Attorney Wolf again objected. The investigators pressed the issue with the US Attorney Weiss, who ultimately stated that well, if the storage unit wasn't accessed for thirty days agents could execute.
A search warrant on it.
However, after the investigators completed their call with the US Attorney Weiss, they discovered that Assistant US Attorney Wolf had contacted Biden's counsel and told them about the storage unit. In other words, if he has incriminating evidence, the Department of Justice gave his lawyer's heads up in time to get rid of whatever incriminating evidence was there. That is not how you conduct a criminal investigation, calling ahead and saying, hey, here's where we'd like to search. We'll let you know what we're looking for, but we're just giving you the heads up ahead of time in case there might be something there you don't want us to see.
Well, let me let's put this into non political terms. You as a lawyer for people that maybe don't have context here, and a lot of people don't have dealings with the FBI or with investigators in their entire life. Does any other American I'm talking rich, poor, black, white, Republican Democrat or anywhere in between, do they get tips normally from the FBI calling you saying hey, we're going to come over and maybe look at something tomorrow or in the next couple days or the next thirty days, whatever it may be. Maybe people say, well, that may happen to other people. We don't know if that's necessarily just a perk of being the last named Biden. How abnormal is it center for that to happen to anyone in this country.
It's extraordinarily weird. Look, search warrants are typically obtained in secrecy, specifically to avoid the destruction of evidence.
Think about it.
If you're executing a search warrant on a drug dealer and you say, hey, we're going to search this warehouse tomorrow, Well, you think you're gonna find any drugs there? I mean, only the stupidest criminal on earth if you tell them where you're going to search, will leave evidence there. And the fact that the Department of Justice gave them a heads up, Hey here's where they're planning to search. That suggests possible obstruction of justice. Because if you tell a witness who has evidence of a search ahead of time in order to enable that witness to destroy the evidence, that constitutes obstruction of justice.
So let me ask you another question, and I know the answer, but just to put it in perspective, what's the point of investigating a person for any crime if you tell them in advance to hide and destroy the evidence of the crime that we're about to investigate, unless you're fixing that investigation to make sure purposely you find nothing.
Well, they don't quite want to find nothing nothing. And we've talked about this on the podcast at length. Hunter's being set up to be the patsy, to be the fall guy. So Merrick Garland can say, I indicted to Biden. I indicted a Trump. I'm very even handed. Now let's go after Trump with everything we got. But he's being set up to be a patsy with a very soft fall, not a day in jail. So the serious crimes, Nope, don't look at it, and especially especially especially do nothing that implicates Joe Biden. And so doj assuming these allegations are correct, walls off. Joe Biden says nothing about the big guy. But it's not just protecting Joe Biden. They're also making sure that Hunter Biden avoids the most serious consequences. So, for example, US Attorney Weiss, according to the allegations from the whistleblower, attempted to bring tax charges against Hunter Biden in the district of Columbia for alleged misconduct in twenty fourteen and twenty fifteen. And by the way, that included four hundred thousand dollars in Barisma derived income. He never reported, Barisma being the Ukrainian natural gas company that is also alleged to have made a five million dollar bribe to Joe Biden.
The dad.
US attorney Weiss wanted to bring the case in DC around March of twenty twenty two, but he was denied. US Attorney Wis sought special council status from DOJ in spring of twenty twenty two, and he was denied. And he also attempted to bring charges in the Central District of California in the fall of twenty twenty two, which was denied in January twenty twenty three.
Now why does that matter.
It matters because the District of Columbia and californ d C was the sole venue for hunters twenty fourteen through twenty fifteen tax crimes, and California was the sole venue for the twenty sixteen through twenty nineteen tax crimes. And whistleblower number two, who would be the gay Democrat who's married another man, maintains that venue was not proper in Delaware for any of these tax charges. So what happened is the most potentially serious tax charges, and we're talking about millions of dollars in tax evasion. According to this allegation, DOJ prevented those charges from being filed until after the statute of limitations passed, until after the period at which Hunter Biden risked real jail time.
That also means that when you and when others have talked to Mert Garland under oath at Congress, that he would have had to have been willfully and purposely lying to you.
So what does that mean?
Going back to the possibility Kevin McCarthy talking about this from an impeachment standpoint, and how would that actually work? And before you answer that, let me tell you about Patriot Mobile. If you're sick and tired of giving your money to woke companies, then you need to check out Patriot Mobile. They are the only conservative Christian cell phone provider in the nation.
Now.
They give you dependable service and that matters because for years, big mobile companies have been dumping millions into leftist causes, including planned parenthood. Patriot Mobile is the only conservative Christian wireless provider that offers you nationwide coverage on all three major networks, so you get the best possible service in your area without the woke propaganda push by the left. Not only will you get free activation, but you'll get the best deals of the year. You can keep your same cell phone number as well. Eight seven eight Patriot is the number eight seven eight Patriot eight seven eight Patriot or Patriot Mobile dot com slash Verdict sentaer I want to go back, and we played Kevin McCarthy earlier talking about if the iOS whistleblowers allegations are true, we will start impeachment inquiries on the ag Garland very soon, He says, I think it was by July sixth, if I'm not mistaken. Yeah, I lay out very queerly by July sixth. Quote because the allegations from the IRF, because the whistleblowers and the DJ or Garland, what are you saying and what David Weiss are saying privately are two different things. So talk and walk us through what happens next when it comes to Garland and is his job really in jeopardy here?
I think it's in very serious jeopardy, and I think he's in real jeopardy of criminal prosecution. If these allegations are correct, I believe the Attorney General likely committed at least one, if not multiple, felonies. The Attorney General flat out said under oath that there was no political interference in this investigation. The Attorney General has also said that David Weiss could pursue whatever facts he saw fit and could bring whatever case he wanted. If these whistleblowers are correct, that David Weiss wanted to bring a case in DC and was denied, wanted to bring a case in Central District, California and was denied. If the allegations are correct, the Department of Justice repeatedly blocked search warrants and tipped off Hunter Biden to search warrants that were being executed. All of that means that what Merrick Garland said was flat out false, and that people reporting to Merrick Garland, very possibly at his direction that has not yet been determined, were obstructing justice. But look, the most damning element of these IRS whistleblower testimonies is what was uncovered during an electronic search, which is a July thirtieth, twenty seventeen text exchange from the encrypted messaging service WhatsApp, and it was between Hunter Biden and Henry Zoo, who is a Chinese national who is an executive of CEFC China Energy and a communist party affiliated with the Chinese Communist Party of the government. We talked about this WhatsApp quite a bit on Monday's pod, but I want to read it again because it is central is the single most important element of this testimony.
Well, hey, by the way, before you read it, I want everybody to count something. Count how many times in this text message that Hunter Biden invokes his father sitting next to me, he's next to me? Count how many times? Because it's clear that this shows what we've all suspected, that Hunter Biden is nothing more than a bagman and all the real juice is coming from the big guy.
So here's the WhatsApp from Hunter quote. I am sitting here with my father, and we would like to understand that's two why the commitment made has not been fulfilled. Tell the director that I would like to resolve this now before it gets out of hand, and now means tonight, and z if I get a caller text from anyone involved in this other than you, zanger the chair, I will make certain that between the man sitting next to me that's three and every person he knows that's four, and my ability to forever hold a grudge that you will regret not following my direction. I am sitting here waiting for the call with my father.
That's five five times.
So five times he invokes daddy.
Yeah, it's it's I'm running this business and the kingpin, the godfather is sitting next to me, and five times you know who's really running the business.
Now that they're only a handful of possible responses that Hunter and Joe Biden could could could put to exonerate themselves. One, they could say this is false, that that that this message was never sent, it's fraudulent.
That's that's possible. I don't think it's terribly likely, but they could say that, Uh, they haven't said that.
Two, they could say, well, yes, Hunter said it, but he was lying. Joe Biden wasn't sitting there with him, even though he was threatening government retribution from his father. Hunter was freelancing and doing on his own. Joe knew nothing about it. That's a second possibility. They haven't said that. Instead, Well, here, look at listen to what number one. Listen to what Joe Biden said when he was asked whether he was lying when he said he never discussed business dealings with his son Hunter.
There's music there.
It's very clear that you hear him yell no, implying I didn't lie about never speaking to Hunter about my business dealings.
Did you ever lie? No? He says it there clearly, and he's irritated.
No, and that's it. He hasn't said that this was that message is false. He hasn't said that he wasn't sitting there with Hunter Biden. He hasn't said that that Hunter didn't have a was freelancing and doing it on his own. He just is flat out stonewalling. Nope, I never lied. Piss off. I don't have to tell you anything. And by the way, it's not just Joe Biden that is saying no, piss off. Listen to the White what the White House press folksperson said when confronted about the very clear conflicts between what the Department of Justice has said and what the IRS whistleblowers have said.
Don last week, does the White House leeve Betorney General Garland committed perjury when he testified under a Delaware US Attorney David West coopering terms outside.
Of this district. I don't have any comment on this, Anita, go ahead and tend to Steven.
I'm moving on, Anita, I love that part. I'm moving on right, Steven, shut up, I'm moving on.
Notice, it's the same thing John Kirby said. I'm not going to answer you. Nope, I'm not going to tell you. By the way, there's no reason that she can't answer. There was no reason why John Kirby couldn't answer other than oh crap, this is a really hard question. This is a bad question. We're in trouble, so we're not going to address the facts. We're not going to give a denial. We're not going to say it's false. We're just going to say no, that's our answer. We will not answer. And by the way, what the hell's wrong with ABC News? How come they didn't cover it? What the hell's wrong with NBC, CNN, MSNBC Are they actually do they even pretend to be news organizations anymore? Are any of them sitting there going wait? Why is CBS covering this? And what are we doing?
Not only that, but I want to go back to what you read earlier, that text message, and it's being reported now by the New York Post and Marina Divine that after that WhatsApp text was sent right where Hunter is warnings now that if he does not comply quote, I'll make certain that between the man sitting next to me and every person he knows, am I ability to to forever hold a grudge that you will regret not following my direction. I'm saying here waiting for the call with my father. Apparently Center within a week, five point one million was wired to Hunter by CEF HE, according to bank records published now by Senator Chuck Grassley and Ron Johnson that actually was published back in September of twenty twenty. You now connect that with this whats app text. The payment of five point one million showed up within a week. We already knew that, we just didn't know about this WhatsApp text well.
And it certainly suggests that the Chinese communists we're afraid of retribution from Joe Biden. And notice Hunter's Hunter's message where he says, tell the director that I would like to resolve this now before it gets out of hand, and now means tonight. You know, when's the last time you've texted someone with that kind of assumption of authority that you've got them where it hurts and they got to do what you want.
Now means tonight. You're not allowed to get back to me tomorrow.
I want the five point one million tonight or the big guys coming after you know. To be clear, that's a paraphrase. May not be what it meant, but it sure sounds like it.
When you invoke the guy five times sitting next to you. To me, that's exactly what it means. And I don't think that's stretching at all to imply that in any capacity. I also want to ask you about the compromising aspect of this, and before I do that, I want to tell you about Chalk. If you're a guy and you feel like you've been losing your edge, you feel like you are just tired all the time, weakness, complacency, not feeling like you want to go work out or even just do fun stuff outside activities. So give it a shot. Choq dot com. That's Chalk Choq dot com. Use promo code Ben for thirty five percent off. Let's talk about the lastly, the compromising aspect of this. You know, you look at the Chinese balloon that went across America. You look at how the White House handle it. They shot it down after the fact, you start looking at how China has been able to do things militarily without basically an American response. You look how weak Anthony Blincoln looked when he went and met with the Chinese. Recently, you look at what China has been able to do pretty much anywhere around the world, even in things in the Middle East as well as with Russia. And you gotta wonder, is it because Joe Biden is compromised. And there's also another part that irks me, the fact that you can control possibly the agenda of the United States of America for five point one million to him and five point one million to his son. That also just scares the hell out of me. Center that ten million dollars can control a nation. It almost offends me that that's how little they it took for them to be an essence bought off.
Well, i'll tell you, Ben, if this WhatsApp is accurate. You know who also had a copy of it, Henry Zau, which means the Chinese Communist government had it. And this was sent in twenty seventeen. Presumably the Chinese Communist government has had it since twenty seventeen.
That's six years ago.
It's incredibly damning when it came out now, but it would have been incredibly damning if it came out six months ago, or a year ago, or two years ago or three years ago, or in the middle of the presidential campaign. If it had come out in the middle of the presidential campaign, it might well have cost Joe Biden a ton of votes. It might well have kept him out of the White House. And so that's an awful lot of ability for the Chinese Communists to have an ACE card up their sleeve. Not to mention the specific records of what money was wired to whom and what it was for. You have to assume this WhatsApp is not the only communication. Notice that this is in the middle of an ongoing discussion, and we might know more of that if the Biden DOJ had not been tipping Off's lawyers or even the Trump DOJ, because some of this was the deep state, was Democrats in the Department of Justice who were obstructing this or at least allegedly obstructing this investigation early on.
And I do want to.
Note the CBS report made a big point of emphasizing Trump appointed US Attorney David Weiss. As we talked about on Monday's podcast, US attorneys are appointed only with the approval of the senators from that state. In Delaware, there are two Democratic senators, Chris Kuns and to Chris Coons and Tom Carper. The two of them had to have signed off on David Weiss or he never could have gotten appointed. And so as much as the media wants to lean into Trump appointed, there's nothing about David Weiss to suggest he is in any way, shape or form a Trump partisan.
Yeah, great point. We're going to keep covering this.
And if you think that the Democrats are going to bail on Joe bid and you're probably wrong, new poll out just to put it in the back of your mind. Kamala Harris has reached the lowest VP net favorability rating in NBC poll history. VP Harris is officially the most unpopular vice president of American history, with a net negative rating of negative seventeen according to the most recent NBC poll. That means that the for all intents and purposes, at least as of right now, the Democrats are stuck with Joe Biden and they're going to have to protect them at all costs.
