Ben Meisner and Dr. Dan Freigang address mental health, depression and anxiety in sports

Season 6 kicks off with Steve Konowalchuk, the first player from Salt Lake to make it to the NHL. Jay and Steve talk about growing up in Salt Lake, and the other players, coaches, and parents that helped create a special team.

Then they get into how Steve and his brother Brian made the unexpected leap to Canada. Steve talks about his NHL career, and what it was like to play against Joey Mullen and other former Golden Eagles that he had grown up watching.  

The two also talk about the ups and downs of making or not making teams. They finish up talking about Steve's current job with the Colorado Eagles.

Jay Stevens is joined by Tyson Whiting(Utah Grizzlies play-by-play announcer) to discuss everything from the potential NHL team moving to Salt Lake City, which building would be best suited to host the NHL, and Tyson's journey from Kearns High announcer to becoming the voice of the Utah Grizzlies.

We also dive into what the future holds for the Utah Grizzlies with all of the movement in the Colorado Avalanche system, some of the weirdest and funniest times Tyson has had as the voice of the Grizzlies, and how he learned to broadcast hockey games while sitting by himself watching them on TV, 

Lastly, we recap the Grizzlies' last two seasons, how much fun it was to watch certain players grow, and where we think they’ll end up in the next few years.
