Shack fires in the Western Cape have claimed yet another life. One person has died, in a blaze in the Vrygrond informal settlement near Muizenberg. According to the ward councillor in the Vrygrond area - sixteen structures have been destroyed in the early morning fire. It is the fourth fire incident in the ward this month. On Christmas Eve, a 30- year old man died in Nomzamo in the Strand due to smoke inhalation.
