Disgruntled residents of Westbury, Coronationville and surrounding areas in Johannesburg have threatened to shut down the streets of Johannesburg if water is not restored by Friday (19 September). This follows days of violent protests over prolonged water outages that have plagued their communities for weeks. Johannesburg Mayor, Dada Morero, has met with the community and assured residents that water supply would be fully restored by Thursday. Lerato Makola reports....
