A 79-year-old suspect arrested in connection with the controversial Steinhoff matter is expected to appear before the Pretoria Specialised Crimes Court. According to the Hawks, the arrest emanates from an ongoing investigation into Steinhoff. His arrest follows the arrest of Stephanus Johannes Grobler who has since been released on bail and is due back in court next week Friday. Party president, Herman Mashaba accuses the DA of trying to back stab the party in the back by allegedly trying to oust ActionSA  from the multiparty coalition government in Tshwane through holding side talks with the ANC. The Khathorus Shop Owners Association and Gauteng Department of Economic Development intermediary, Family Tree Holdings, have released a joint statement rubbishing allegations leveled against the two entities by spaza shop owners in Kahlehong, east of Johannesburg. Earlier this week, Update@Noon spoke to Build One South Africa leader, Mmusi Maimane and Kahlehong Shop owner, Neo Motaung, who accused Family Tree Holdings of colluding with the Khathorus Shop Owners Association in order to short-chage local spaza shop owners meant to be assisted by the R100 million Kasi Mnotho Fund initiative.
