"We are not all violent criminals"-SANTACO begs for public's forgiveness and distances itself from brutal e-hailing driver murder at Maponya Mall

SANTACO in Gauteng has distanced itself from both the fatal attacks on E-hailing drivers at Maponya Mall in Soweto and the forceful and illegal removal family members travelling together in their own vehicle. SANTACO has been addressing the media following the horrific killing of an e-hailing driver Mthokozisi Mvelase, who was shot and set alight in his vehicle on Wednesday, allegedly by disgruntled taxi operators. SANTACO has strongly condemned the incident and called on law enforcement to act swiftly in apprehending those responsible for this violence act. Chairperson of SANTACO in Gauteng, Midday Mali has asked for the industry to be forgiven in this regard.
