Two foreign nationals have been arrested in Brackenfell for the alleged possession of abalone without documentation. Police say an intelligence-driven operation led members of the Kuilsrivier Stock Theft and Endangered Species Unit and Maitland Flying Squad to a storage facility in Brackenfell Industrial. They seized 9,439 units of dried abalone, with the value yet to be determined, as well as two vehicles. The suspects, a 49-year-old Chinese national and a 36-year-old Tanzanian national, are due to appear in the Kuilsrivier Magistrates’ Court . Captain Frederick C. van Wyk explains
