The Eastern Cape High Court, sitting in Gqeberha, has found Nigerian televangelist, Timothy Omotoso and his co-accused, not guilty on all charges against them. The court dismissed the state's case against Omotoso, Lusanda Sulani and Zikiswa Sitho, following a trial spanning over 8 years. The accused faced 32 charges including rape, human trafficking and racketeering, after Omotoso was arrested at the Chief Dawid Stuurman airport in 2018 on rape and other charges.
