According to Statistics South Africa  (STATS SA) there has been an increase of 294 000 in jobs for South Africans in Quater 3 of this year to 16.9 million of employed people. Stats SA reports that South Africa's unemployment rate has decreased by 1.4 percent  to 32.1 percent in quarter three of this year (2024).
