Total employment increased by 42 000 or 0,4% quarter-on-quarter, from 10-million 674-thousand in March 2024 to 10-million 716-thousand in June 2024. According to Stats SA this is largely due to an increase in Community Services industry with 92 000 or 3,1%. However, there was a decrease in Manufacturing, Business services, Mining, Transport, Trade and Construction.
