The South African Weather Service says the snowfalls currently affecting parts of KwaZulu-Natal, the Free State and the Eastern Cape provinces, are not rare occurrences at this time of the year. The snowfall experienced late last month wreaked havoc in parts of the country, killing one person and causing massive traffic jams due to the closure of major highways. Bongiwe Zwane spoke to SABC reporter, Horisani Sithole.
