FlySafair has announced that South African Airways will accommodate FlySafair's passengers amid the ongoing wage impasse. Lanseria Airport in Johannesburg reported two flight cancellations as FlySafair's pilot strike entered its second day. The airport's management says the airline has kept it and its passengers informed about developments regarding flight schedules. Trade Union Solidary has rejected FlySafair's five-point-seven percent wage offer and is demanding ten-point-five percent for the 2025-26 financial year.
