Suspended Deputy National Police Commissioner Shadrack Sibiya, will be submitting an urgent application to have the pending disciplinary hearing against him scheduled for Monday next week, postponed to a later date. Sibiya was served with a summons by police on Tuesday, ahead of his appearance at the Randburg Magistrates Court. He is facing a string of charges including rape, human trafficking, the alleged sexual grooming of a sixteen-year-old girl and contravening the firearms control act. His bail application has been postponed to the 7th of October.
