A small group of women has held a prayer gathering outside the venue for the sitting on the Joshlin Smith matter, in Saldanah Bay, in the Western Cape province. Sentencing procedures are underway at a local community hall after the 6-year-old's mother, Kelly, her co-accused Jacquen Appollis and Steveno Van Rhyn were convicted on charges of child trafficking. Joshlin went missing from her Middlepos home in February last year. The women are calling for a maximum sentence for the accused and justice for Joshlin. They say their children are not safe.
