Sasfin Bank has refuted claims made against it by the South African Revenue Service, saying the claims have no merit and will be defended. This comes after SARS Commissioner, Edward Kieswetter confirmed that following a probe, the entity has served the bank with a civil summons to the value of R4.87 billion. The sum includes interest and costs in the form of damages claim from SARS. Sakina Kamwendo spoke to Political Economist, Dale Mckinley.
