Residents of KwaMashu, north of Durban are calling for the closure of spaza shops owned by foreign nationals.  This after teachers at a KwaMashu school, who have started to inspect snacks children bought at spaza shops, found capsules inside a sealed packet of chips.  There have been several cases of food poisoning in KwaZulu-Natal, since last month.  In another case an oThongathi family fell ill, shortly after drinking cold drinks bought at a spaza shop.
