Family, friends and associates of the late columnist and analyst, Eusebius McKaiser, say they are deeply saddened and shocked at his sudden passing. In the small town of Makhanda in the Eastern Cape, where McKaiser spent his formative years, he is hailed as a hero because he championed the rights of underprivileged girls through his campaigns for free access to sanitary towels.
