Sergeant Fannie Nkosi has denied being in possession of tender bids documents of the City of Tshwane six months before the tender process was closed. Responding to Madlanga Commission of Inquiry Evidence Leader Matthew Chaskalson, Sergeant Nkosi said he was under the impression that the tender process was closed.

ActionSA says it welcomes the action taken by City of Tshwane Mayor Dr Nasiphi Moya to suspend MMC Kholofelo Morodi pending the outcome of a full investigation into the allegations arising from the Madlanga Commission.  The party says it commends Dr Moya for directing immediate engagement with the Madlanga Commission and for working to ensure cooperation between the City and the Commission, so that the City can urgently protect and uphold the integrity of its institutions. Responding to Madlanga Commission Evidence Leader Advocate Mathew Chaskalson, Nkosi says it is then that Mnisi asked for his brother's company vendor number.
