Pressure is mounting on Public Enterprises Minister, Pravin Gordhan, to be sacked and his department scrapped. This comes amid growing business and investor unhappiness about continuing instability at the country's embattled state owned enterprises. Political analyst, Sandile Swana says although Gordhan is a liability to the country's economy, his political future is safe as he remains a political ally of President Cyril Ramaphosa. Meanwhile, economist at Wits University, Professor, Jannie Rossouw, says neither Gordhan not his department add any value stabilising the country's SOEs. Sakina Kamwendo spoke to Professor Rossouw
