The bodies of 21 out of the 78 people that have been reported to have died in floods in Mthatha in the Eastern Cape have been positively identified. Heavy rainfall caused the floods in the area. President Cyril Ramaphosa is also currently visiting affected the families. Co-operative Governance and Traditional Affairs Minister Velenkosini Hlabisa and Premier of the province, Thami Ntuli are also in attendance. The search for more bodies continues.
