Three suspects have been arrested in Port Shepstone on the KwaZulu-Natal south coast, in connection with the killing of 18 people in Lusikisiki in the Eastern Cape last month. One other suspect- Siphosoxolo Myekethe abondoned his bail application in the Lusikisiki Magistrate's Court yesterday. KwaZulu-Natal police say they received a tip-off from community members in the Mkholombe informal settlement. He says they recognised the suspects from the photographs that police have been circulating.
